I would like to have coordinated public protest all over the US (and beyond) all on the same day. For each area, please post in the thread with your area
on it, or create a new thread if there is not a place close enough to you yet. We want a lot of people to show up to each area, so don't create them too
small, unless you need to (like you simply can't get to one of the areas already named). I'd rather you show up to a protest in your small town, than
not show up to a protest because it's too far away.
On this thread, I want to discuss what day we will all protest all across the country.
In each thread created for each area, decide amongst those on the thread where you will protest. Those who live there will also be in charge of contacting
their local newspapers.
So... what would be a good day to protest? I want it soon, but far enough into the future that people have time to find out about it.

Hi. I'm April in Tucson. I tried to post last night, but I hadn't confirmed my signup for this forum and I think it sent the post to heaven.
Anyway, what I said is that this has to be God! I had the same idea to hold simultaneous nationwide demonstrations, and I've never even been to a demonstration before. How awesome! I wonder if you can email me with some instructions for using this site? I'm rather computer literate, but can't seem to navigate to the threads. I've seen the post from the fella in Boise, but I would imagine that there are others I'm not seeing. I'm willing to organize something in Tucson, and the first couple weeks of June are okay, or anytime in July after the 4th. (Maybe independence day would be perfect.) We never go on vacation, but this year we are! If it turns out that the day is between June 21 and July 2, I'll participate in Topeka, KS. We'll be driving the day before and after that. Thank you very much for doing this. I'm a Baptist and don't agree with much of the LDS/FLDS doctrine, but I'm willing to do what it takes to ensure that their right to worship and speak as they please is honored. Thanks again, April |

hi, this site is new, so there aren't many people yet. So nice to hear from you. I don't like the mean attitude towards the flds, but the defenders
sometimes are responsible for the same thing as far as saying bad things about everybody involved. Like the baptist buses. The whole thing is just crazy as
far as people making up stuff to senstionalize their hatred. I guess I'm no better, talking about how bad everybody else is for thinking others are bad,
lol. I have no idea how this place works. Welcome.

Ron Paul seems like the Presidential candidate most likely to defend the FLDS. He has a consistent voting record in favor of freedom and individual and family
rights. But even he has not adressed this issue. He is having a freedom rally in Texas on June 12, 2008
Maybe we could all protest on that day. |
